    Early Life and Education

    Manolis Glezos was born on the island of Naxos, Greece, in 1922.

    In 1935, his family moved to Athens, where he completed high school and worked in a pharmacy. In 1940, he enrolled in the Higher School of Economic and Commercial Studies (now the Athens University of Economics and Business).
