Early Life and EducationManolis Glezos was born on the island of Naxos, Greece, in 1922.
In 1935, his family moved to Athens, where he completed high school and worked in a pharmacy. In 1940, he enrolled in the Higher School of Economic and Commercial Studies (now the Athens University of Economics and Business).
